Kurzbeschreibung
In recent years, provenance research has undergone significant development, both in terms of the number of objects and collections studied, and in terms of novel methodologies employed and sources of funding. The seminar will focus on the legal aspects of provenance research in the context of the licitness of trade in cultural objects and in relation to ensuring justice for those (individuals, groups and communities) who have been deprived of their cultural heritage.
